Barbara J. Walker, 87, of Fishers passed away on September 12. Barbara was born on August 25, 1930 to Norris and Clofa (Randall) Wolfgang in Patricksburg, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband George Walker; a grandson Stephen VanArsdall Jr.; 2 brothers Robert and Paul Wolfgang; and sister Mildred Bender. She is survived by 3 loving sons Robert (Rose) VanArsdall Jr. of Fishers, Stephen (Carolyn) VanArsdall Sr. of Monrovia, and Kevin VanArsdall of Mulberry, FL; 7 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; brother John Wolfgang of Carmel; and sister Julia Butler of Carmel.

Barbara worked for the Indiana Department of Revenue as a Tax Examiner for 15 years. After retiring she returned as a part-time employee for 3 years.

She enjoyed playing cards, solving all kinds of word puzzles, and going to casinos with friends occasionally.
